Microsoft is all set to show off its new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop model. The Redmond technology giant has scheduled its new Surface Event on October 12th. Many news have been leaked regarding the event. According to the leaks that are gone viral, the Surface Pro will be running on Intel’s 12th Generation Core i5 and i7 processors. There will be an additional ARM based option with 5G support. In short the Surface Pro X line – up will not be returning this year.
On both the devices, Microsoft will offer 1TB storage. There is also an upgrade of up to 16GB of RAM. According to the reports, new colour variants will also be available. There might be an incremental update for the Surface Pro 9, as the Surface Pro 9 got a big update last year.
Apart from the Pro line, the Surface Laptop 5 and Surface Studio 3 will also be seen during the event. Since 2018, The Studio has not seen any major design revision.
So people are eagerly waiting for a revised look from Microsoft. The accessories for Surface Studio which includes the Mouse, Keyboard and Surface Pen is also expected during the event. October is going to be a very busy month with so many launch events lining up. The launching of the Pixel 7 will take place on October 7. Meta’s Meta Connect event is scheduled on October 11 and it is also expected that Apple will host an event to launch its iPad and Mac on October.
