Mathrubhumi MD MP Veerendrakumar Passed Away

Senior Socialist leader and Mathrubhumi MP MP Veerendrakumar has passed away. He was 83 years old. The end was followed by a heart attack. He was being treated at a private hospital in Kozhikode. Former Union Minister and present Rajya Sabha MP.

He contested from Kozhikode and won the Lok Sabha. Member of Kerala Legislative Assembly and Minister of Forests. Within 48 hours of taking office, the minister resignedProminent Socialist Party leader and Madras legislator M.K. He was born on July 22, 1936 in Kalpetta, Wayanad to Padmaprabha Gowder and Marudevi Avva.

Wife: Usha. Children: Asha, Nisha, Jayalakshmi and MV Shreyamskumar (Joint Managing Director – Mathrubhumi).

He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Vivekananda College, Madras and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, USA. And graduated. Member of the Executive Committee of the Indian Newspaper Society, Director of the PTI, Trustee of the Press Institute of India, Member of the International Press Institute, Member of the Commonwealth Press Union;
